Syllabus of the CLEUIM is integrated in the accredited curriculum of the two year Master Studies in Business Law, therefore it will be implemented through teaching process for at least 20 students who regularly attend master studies in the current and the next two years. The study of important and carefully designed content in the field of EU internal market law, organized within the master studies, is the most important segment of the project implementation, but it will be greatly strengthened by other significant project activities.
In addition to activities aimed at conducting systematically and methodologically refined teaching classes, MLEUIM will also bring at least ten master's theses related to EU internal market topics. During the project, at least three scientific papers on the topics related to EU Internal Market Law will be published in regionally distributed legal journals.
CLEUIM will host the Montenegrin Chief Negotiator with the EU, as well as the Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, prominent figures from civil society and public sector involved in accession negotiations between Montenegro and EU, students and media, who will discuss the main goals and tasks for Montenegro’s membership in the EU, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the accession process and promoting the importance of educating young lawyers in this field.
An important aspect of the project involves collaboration with Montenegrin Centre for Education of Judiciary and State Prosecutors (CEJSP), in partnership with which training sessions will be organized for representatives of CEJSP regular trainees (judges, candidate for judges, judicial assistants) in handling cases related to the EU Internal Market law. The training will be conducted by the academic team of the CLEUIM project, aiming to better prepare judicial officials in Montenegro for the reading, interpretation, and relevant application of decisions contained in the judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union and guidelines from the European Commission.
One of the key purposes of CLEUIM project would be to strongly support Montenegro’s ongoing endeavours to justify its long-standing position of the frontrunner for the next EU Member State by enhancing its legal profession readiness to provide crucial contribution in that regard.
